The collection was inspired by Alfred Hitchcock's 1958 film Vertigo. The colors and digital prints are specifically inspired by the dream sequences in the movie. And, the large florals are a derivative of the flowers conspicuously placed throughout the set. There is also a print developed with a moving still camera to create the spiral effect of vertigo. The 1972 Martin Scorsese film Boxcar Bertha was the core inspiration for this collection. The railroad and iron work throughout the film inspired the "Railroad Plaid" and the "Iron Dot" digital prints. Dead calla lilies representing the deterioration of wealth in the Depression era inspired a large floral print. A foggy landscape is a backdrop for a key scene in the film. The image was recaptured in a photograph of a Texas landscape - shot in the early morning hours. Model: Natalie Keyser, Elite Model Management.

The designer's used their personal get-a-way destinations for the inspiration of this season. Vast landscapes of Lake Joseph, tagua seeds, old gas pumps, and Echinacea flowers became the basis for prints.
Detailed pleating and sophisticated draping are complimented by the custom prints. Model: Camila Mingori, Elite Model Management.

The life and work of Charlie Chaplin was the creative inspiration for Spring 2010. The runway show, styled by Kate Lanphear (style director at ELLE), featured dark make-up and men's shoes. The structured jackets and blazers are detailed, while some of the dresses and blouses are draped and loose. Custom prints are applied onto the back of hammered silk to mute the colors. A gray and light pink graphic print is based on the silhouette of a trapeze artist - which is the character Chaplin falls in love with in his movie The Circus. Finally, on a quirky side note, the intro song for the runway show was actually "Swing Little Girl" sung by Chaplin.
