Currently, we are accepting applications for internships.
We are looking for a couple superstar interns to help with various tasks revolving around the development, distribution, production, and sales of our collection. We would like them to start in the beginning of March, and commit to 3-5 days for 3 months.
We are looking for someone who is:
Organized, productive, proactive, detail oriented, knowledgeable about textiles, skilled at sewing (not mandatory, but a plus), aware of the contemporary marketplace, efficient, reliable, and confident.
Interns will get hands on experience developing relationships with vendors in the Garment District, sourcing and purchasing fabric and trim, costing and comparative pricing merchandise, assisting in the delivery of press samples to editorial contacts and stylists, and archiving the prior seasons samples and production materials. Select interns will also assist in the day-to-day development and execution of the upcoming collection Fall 2012 with both design and production teams.
